Raja Raja chozhan's last phase of life

It was very nice that Tamilnadu celebrated Big temple's 1000 year completion.
Raja Raja chozhan who built this temple, waited 14 years for his throne. He gave it to his relative. He ruled well. He was a popular and powerful king.

But the last phase of his life is not clear.
We are able to track famous and powerful people to death. But in the case of Raja Raja chozhan, sudden lost of details is in his life.
Can any one say why it happened like this.
